“If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough.” ~ Albert Einstein
I grew up in Pretoria with the love and support of a close-knit family. After completing school, and at the time conscription was in place, I became a Police Officer.
I was stationed at the Sandton Detective Branch and worked as a Commissioned Officer with the rank of Detective Captain by the time I left to pursue law.
While in the Police, I studied and obtained two Diplomas and my first Law Degree.
I served articles as a Candidate Attorney, where I was exposed to various fields of law.
When my articles were done, I started practising law as an Advocate in 2001 for my own account whilst conducting forensic investigations for corporate companies.
I have extensive experience in Forensic Investigations, Criminal Law, and Labour Law.
In 2004, I was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and had practised as such since then.
Much to my surprise, from 2004 onwards, my practice evolved and became a divorce and family law practice. I always say that I did not choose family law – it chose me.
Passionate about practising Divorce and Family Law, I love to use my forensic investigation skills in high-value, complicated divorce matters.
Sometimes I’m quoted in the National Press and interviewed on the Radio regarding divorce and family law matters.
My speciality is complex, high net worth, and international divorces.
Away from the law, I am a family man and an avid aviator, and I enjoy flying small aeroplanes such as Cessna 172s and Bat Hawks.

After earning my LLB degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2017, I took a brief pause before immersing myself in the legal field. My journey began in 2019 at a mid-sized law firm specialising in RAF, Family Law, General Litigation, Estates, and Conveyancing.
The path was challenging, with numerous twists and turns along the way. During my articles, I completed the Practical Legal Training course through Lead, balancing office work, court appearances, day-school and night-school lectures in a demanding schedule.
The hard work paid off—I successfully passed all four board exams on my first attempt and was admitted to the Roll of Attorneys in August 2020, after just one year and six months of articles.
Following a year of practice at the same firm post-admission, I joined a boutique law firm in Umhlanga. There, I specialized in Insurance Law and Motor Vehicle Collision Recovery and Litigation, serving as the Head of Litigation among other responsibilities.
My passion for law was ignited at a young age when I observed the limited legal knowledge in my community and realised that navigating legal issues didn’t have to be daunting. This inspired me to be a catalyst for change within the legal field.
I quickly learned that while the legal profession can be challenging, improving the experience for others can shift the narrative over time.
Deeply passionate about my work, I am dedicated to providing the best legal service possible to those I assist. My commitment is fuelled by a strong sense of family and community, and most importantly, by my faith in Jesus Christ.
Take away the Legal title and I am just a homebody, a family girl and an avid shopaholic. I enjoy a little adventure every now and then.

As the firm’s digital marketer, I am responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s online presence as well as its digital marketing efforts.
I am dedicated and self-motivated, always aiming to deliver the best in everything I’m involved in. I take ownership of complex challenges, using them as opportunities for continual growth. I’m intentional about learning from experience, using it to refine my skills and push myself forward. I welcome challenges, using them as opportunities to become better. I analyse consumer psychology and decision-making patterns, applying these insights to shape compelling campaigns and effective communication strategies.
To me, everything is marketing. The way you choose to communicate, frame, and present anything largely shapes and dictates how it’s understood by the recipient on the receiving end, regardless of the actual reality. This applies to everything: a message, a product, a company, or even yourself as an individual. Marketing is the key to success. No matter how valuable something is, if its worth is not effectively marketed and communicated, its value will not be recognised and appreciated.
I love movies and music. I’m proud to say that I support the best football club in the world, Liverpool FC. Spending quality time with friends and family is something I cherish with my whole heart. I believe the connections and bonds we form with those around us are what life is all about. It’s these relationships that really make the journey worthwhile.
