I grew up in Pretoria with the love and support of a close-knit family.
After completing school, and at the time conscription was in place, I became a Police Officer.
I was stationed at the Sandton Detective Branch and worked as a Commissioned Officer with the rank of Detective Captain by the time I left to pursue law.
While in the Police, I studied and obtained two Diplomas and my first Law Degree.
I served articles as a Candidate Attorney, where I was exposed to various fields of law.
When my articles were done, I started practising law as an Advocate in 2001 for my own account whilst conducting forensic investigations for corporate companies.
I have extensive experience in Forensic Investigations, Criminal Law, and Labour Law.
In 2004, I was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and had practised as such since then.
Much to my surprise, from 2004 onwards, my practice evolved and became a divorce and family law practice. I always say that I did not choose family law – it chose me.
Passionate about practising Divorce and Family Law, I love to use my forensic investigation skills in high-value, complicated divorce matters.
Sometimes I’m quoted in the National Press and interviewed on the Radio regarding divorce and family law matters.
My speciality is complex, high net worth, and international divorces.
Away from the law, I am a family man and an avid aviator, and I enjoy flying small aeroplanes such as Cessna 172s and Bat Hawks.
